Are You Under 30 and A Rising Star?

Nominate yourself or another under 30 superstar travel consultant for Travel Agent magazine’s annual 30Under30 search. You could end up on the cover of Travel Agent and featured in a cover story about your rise to the top. Plus Travel Agent magazine will honor this year’s recipients at the inaugural Young Leaders Conference on December 7th during the 2010 Luxury Travel Expo. After all, who doesn’t like having their talents showcased in front of their peers while receiving the recognition they deserve? 

If you or someone you know is under 30 and exhibits the entrepreneurial spirit to lift travel selling to new heights, then you belong among this year’s 30Under30.

Submit Your Nomination by October 15

Of course we won’t know how stellar you are until you tell us. Here’s how to let us know for a chance at making your debut on the 30Under30 report:

•    Provide your name, age, agency, agency location, e-mail and phone number.
•    Give us the inside scope in 150 words or less: 
        *    What is your background?
        *    What subject did you study in school?
        *    What is your former professional background?
        *    What do you love most about selling travel?
        *    What is the most interesting travel package you’ve sold lately?
        *    Who are your clients?
        *    Where have you traveled?
        *    How do you feel about being a travel agent?
        *    What agency or industry accolades have your received for your efforts?
        *    What have you done to overcome the challenges to your business during the economic downturn?
•    Submit a 100-word endorsement from your agency owner/manager or consortia head (if you own your own business). Include the name, title and email of endorser.
•    Upload a photo (jpeg please) of yourself taken during a recent fabulous trip.
•    Finally, don’t forget to visit our online submission form by October 8 to submit your nomination. Dislike online questionnaires? Then include the information and photo in an e-mail to 30under30@questex.com.

Travel Agent’s editorial team will make the final selections, which we’ll announce in the November 22nd issue.
