Island Destinations and IDX have revealed more than 70 luxury “Exclusive Extras” for 2016. The Island Destinations brochure includes savings from fine resorts, while the IDX annual book includes a collection of premier full-service resorts with “Xclusive Xtras” evaluated by the ID Travel Group. The specials include properties in Cuba, Bali, Hawaii, Bora Bora, Bermuda, Mexico, Maldives and the Caribbean.
To go along with these offerings the tour operator has increased agent commission by an extra one percent, upwards of 16 percent in select destinations, for new bookings and travel from now through December 15, 2016.
There is also the newly-launched We’ve Got You Covered campaign, which offers complimentary coverage through its SPF 24/7 Cancellation Waiver and Premium Post Departure Insurance, valued at up to $500 per person. ID Travel Group is currently allowing clients to cancel a vacation for any reason, up until the moment of departure, on new trips to select luxury hotels booked and traveled from now until December 15, 2016. The promotion includes total commission protection for travel professionals when the trip is paid in full.
