New York

Instead of opting for the classic cocktail, The Peninsula is aiming to party in a more prim and proper fashion: a “Peninsula in Pink” afternoon tea between 2:30 and 5:00pm every day of the month. A portion of all proceeds will be given to SHARE Cancer Support. Seating will be in the Gotham Lounge, where sweet treats like white chocolate pomegranate mousse, raspberry macaroons, and strawberry tarts will be served along with high tea – pinkies up!

Have a drink with the Pink Lady of the (Ritten)house, a gin and Persian rose tea concoction with a splash of rosé. Or, if it’s too early for happy hour, the Rittenhouse Spa & Club will alternatively serve a colorful post-workout pick-me-up, the Pink Lady juice. The Susan B. Komen Philadelphia chapter will receive fifteen percent of the revenues, yet another reason to toast to good health!

Miami

Since September 30th, every night at 10pm, the Fontainebleau’s Chateau Tower has been bathed in pink light as part of the “Bleau Goes Pink” initiative. The philanthropic promotion, which promises to pass a portion of all proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Miami/Ft. Lauderdale chapter, includes exclusive $39 prix fixe menus at sleek dining establishments like Hakkasan, Scarpetta, Michael Mina 74, and La Côte, and special spa treatments at the Lapis Spa.

New Orleans

First place ribbons aren’t always blue. This month, Vitascope Hall at the Hyatt Regency is mixing things up with a winning “Pink Ribbon” cocktail, featuring a refreshing combination of vodka, Cointreau, fresh lime juice topped with sparkling wine and served in a pink sugar-frosted glass. Half of all cocktail charges will contribute to the New Orleans Susan G. KomenWalk for the Cure” chapter. If that weren’t enough, the hotel will also donate all profits from a bakesale held for its 950 associates to the fund. That’s a double-victory in our books!

Los Angeles

In its annual effort to fundraise for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (a division of the American Cancer Society), the Beverly Wilshire has enlisted its premier restaurant and bars to help support the Four Seasons’ “Pink Lady Initiative.” Guests of THE Blvd get the chance to pair a glass of Moët & Chandon with a dish prepared according to their individual taste preference: either savory or sweet, and sip the featured “Twisted Tiffany” cocktail (which consists of Lanson Rose Champagne, Aperol, St. Germain, and lemon) at CUT or sidebar
