Virgin Hotels, the lifestyle hotel brand by Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson, has announced plans to open and operate a new hotel in Palm Springs, CA. Expected to open in late 2018, the new hotel will include 150 Chambers and Grand Chambers Suites and multiple dining and drinking outlets, which Virgin has become known for. We imagine the rooftop terrace will be the place to be seen, with views of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains.

We know guests will be thrilled to know that the hotel will also have public event space from the Palm Spring Art Museum, which will offer guest complimentary VIP tickets to concerts, movies and other performances (yes, please). Guests will also be able to walk to a range of other galleries from the hotel as well as vintage shopping hot spots and popular restaurants.

For outdoor activities, visitors can explore nearby Joshua Tree, which has miles of trails and scenic outlooks.
