Gap Adventures Offers Travel Agent Discount

Gap Adventures is offering travel agents a discount of up to 40 percent on select tours in 2011 and 2012. Agents may also select a single travel companion to receive a 20 percent discount.
“Agents are an extension of the Gap Adventures family,” said Bruce Poon Tip, founder of Gap Adventures. “We’re extremely grateful for their continued support, and we want to show them how much they mean to us. We hope these discounts will encourage agents to experience our adventures for themselves.”
These discounts apply to four of Gap Adventures’ trip types. Classic trips are designed to have a broad appeal, and focus on the exploration of unique landscapes, interesting wildlife and foreign cultures. Tailored for outdoor enthusiasts, Active trips are challenging physical adventures paired with immersive exploration. Overland trips take travelers on a truck adventure through seldom-visited villages, remote vistas and amazing wildlife in Africa. YOLO trips, designed to appeal to the 18- to 30-something demographic, mix adventure, affordability and authenticity. Tours within these categories can be in the Basic, Standard or Comfort level of service.
Tours must be booked 90 days prior to departure. To qualify, travelers must be full-time agents employed with their present agency for six months.
Gap Adventures operates award-winning tours to more than 100 countries on all seven continents. These trips are designed to provide agents with greater understanding of adventure products, which will help when working with clients that are seeking off-the-beaten-path, unique and culturally engaged experiences.
