Cape Town's Steenberg Hotel Updates Premier Rooms

 

The Steenberg Hotel recently updated all of its Premier rooms, and even made some other cosmetic changes throught the rest of the hotel. // (c) 2011 Steenberg Hotel.

The Steenberg Hotel finished refining the interior of its Premier Rooms to bring a contemporary look to the hotel, located in the Constantia Valley on Cape Town's oldest farm (circa 1682).

The hotel was voted by www.tripadvisor.com as the Best Luxury Hotel in Africa 2011. The building comprises 21 deluxe rooms and three Heritage suites located 20 minutes from Cape Town. The hotel is also located on top of a working wine farm.

The newly designed Premier Rooms are more open, and have been designed to show views of either the Steenberg golf course or the vineyards, and also provide private patios. All of the Premier Rooms come equipped with iPod docking stations and PC data and power outlets.

Sofas have been added in shades of blue and grey, new carpeting and curtains have been introduced in shades of oatmeal and white, and new light fixtures have also been installed. The entrance to the private terrace is now adorned with French doors.

The Premier Room rates begin at $568 per room per night, while Standard Luxury Rooms begin at $310 per room per night until September 30. Golf, Conference, and Spa Hotel packages are also available. The rates include a full breakfast, wine tasting, and Wi-Fi. Complimentary chauffeur services to local restaurants and shopping centers are also available.
