Air Jamaica New Daily Non-stop JFK/Barbados Service

Air Jamaica
has announced new daily non-stop service between John F. Kennedy International
Airport (JFK) in New York and Grantley Adams International Airport
in Barbados,
starting January 10, 2007. Caribbean Airlines' (formerly BWIA West Indies
Airways) move to discontinue its operations on this route led to Air Jamaica's
decision. Air Jamaica will
operate daily Airbus A-320 service from JFK to Barbados with 138 seats in Economy
Class and 12 in Executive Business Class. This service will continue to St. Lucia four days a week and to Grenada three
days a week. This new schedule will also offer daily direct service to Montego Bay, Jamaica,
via St. Lucia or Grenada, offering further connections to and
from Air Jamaica's U.S. gateways in Atlanta,
Baltimore/Washington D.C., Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles,
Miami, New York
(JFK) and Philadelphia.
Effective January 1, 2007, the new Executive Business Class will replace First

Delta Adds Caribbean Flights

Delta Air Lines will introduce a new non-stop weekly flight
on Saturdays from New York's John F. Kennedy
International Airport (JFK) to Cyril E. King Airport (STT) in St.
, U.S. Virgin Islands. The service will begin on March 3, 2007.
The new flight (#373) is scheduled to depart New York
at 9 a.m. and arrive in St. Thomas
at 12:54 p.m. The return flight (#374) will depart St.
at 1:55 p.m. and arrive in New York
at 5:50 p.m. Delta will also offer an additional Sunday flight from Atlanta to Barbados
effective Feb. 18, 2007 through April 15, 2007. This brings the number of
weekly non-stop Atlanta
flights from three to four. There will also be an equipment upgrade to a 757
aircraft, with a seating capacity of 183 passengers on the Saturday flights, effective
Feb. 17 through April 14. The other flights will continue to be operated with a
737 with 150 seats. Delta recently introduced a Friday service to Barbados, which
commenced on Nov. 17.
