AirTran Moving Minneapolis-St. Paul Operations

AirTran Airways on May 18 will relocate to the Humphrey Terminal of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. It has been operating out of the Lindbergh Terminal since May 2001. The shift will mean more comfort and convenience for passengers, says Joe Leonard, the carrier's chairman and CEO. "This move will also allow us to further streamline our operating costs so that we can continue to offer low fares to our customers," he adds. AirTran Airways currently operates five daily flights to Atlanta, four to Chicago and one to Orlando from the Lindbergh Terminal; on May 9, it adds a fifth daily flight to Chicago.
