American Airlines Assists East Coast Travel Plans Effected by Hurricane Irene

American Airlines is assisting customers affected by Hurricane Irene. Due to the expected weather in the East Coast, American Airlines is offering customers the chance to change their plans without any penalty. One ticket change is allowed with no charges. The penalty will be waived for those traveling to, from, though the airports listed below, between August 25-30, issued no later than August 25.

Baltimore, (BWI)

Boston, (BOS)

Hartford, Conn. (BDL)

Newark, N.J. (EWR)

New York (LGA and JFK)

Norfolk, Va. (ORF)

Philadelphia, (PHL)

Raleigh/Durham, N.C. (RDU)

Richmond, Va. (RIC)

Washington, D.C. (DCA and IAD)

Wilmington, N.C. (ILM)

White Plains, N.Y. (HPN)

Customers will be able to redeem their tickets as late as September 4.
