Atlantic Southwest Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines have received final approval from the FAA to merge and operate as one airline.
The two SkyWest Inc. subsidiaries will operate as one effective December 31 under the name ExpressJet Airlines. It will be the largest regional airline in the world with more than 400 aircraft operating 2,350 flights each day.
