bmi Announces Codeshare with Continental

Bmi has formed a codeshare deal with Continental Airlines allowing it to sell tickets to U.S. destinations served by the carrier from five UK airports.  The move comes as as Continental becomes the 25th member of the Star Alliance.

The deal will mean bmi can sell tickets to Newark Liberty International Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Airport, in Houston, from Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Brussels.

Continental will be able to sell tickets on bi services connecting through the same set of UK destinations, as well as Belfast and Amman.

The airlines will announce additional codeshare destinations throughout the rest of the year.
