Commercial Air Service Returns to Marathon Airport in the Florida Keys

Commercial air service has returned to Florida Keys’ Marathon Airport. In 2007, after a six-year absence of commercial service to Marathon, Delta Connection briefly began operating daily, roundtrip flights from Atlanta to Marathon. Today, Cape Air, a code-share carrier for Continental Airlines, operates service for three daily roundtrip flights from Fort Myers' Southwest Florida International Airport with passengers traveling in nine-passenger commuter aircraft.
