Frequent business travelers will be interested in the new upgrades to Delta Airlines this summer, part of their $3 billion costumer experience investment.
Each Airbus 330 in Delta’s 32 craft fleet will now have 34 full flat-bed seats in the Business Elite cabin, strategically arranged to optimize space, comfort and privacy. Each has its own direct aisle assess, electronic seat controls with adjustable lumbar support, a 110-volt universal power outlet, USB port and adjustable personal LED reading lamp. A personal 15.4 inch widescreen video monitor can access 350 films, 130 hours of T.V., 100 hours of premium selections from HBO and Showtime, 27 games, more than 4,500 digital music tracks and a real-time flight tracker. On-demand streaming to laptops and tablets will also be available later this summer.
In Economy Comfort class, new “slim line” seats offer up to four additional inches of personal space, six-way adjustable head rests, a 110-volt universal power outlet and USB port. In addition, costumers seated in Economy Comfort get priority seating and complimentary spirits, meals, entertainment, blankets and pillows throughout flight.
"A restful night's sleep is critical to our customers who are flying halfway around the world and we are thrilled that the full flat-bed seats will soon be offered throughout our international fleet, providing them with a more relaxing and productive journey," says Glen Hauenstein, executive vice president of marketing, network and revenue management.
