Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest operator of B787 aircraft, has just acquired the B787 Dreamliner Flight Simulator, making it the first regional carrier to own aviation technology of this kind.
The simulator is currently being installed in Ethiopian’s main hub in Addis Ababa. Once completed, the first pilot training is expected to begin in March 2015. The simulator will be the first B787 full-flight simulator training for pilots in Africa.
