Delta Airlines (www.delta.com) is launching nonstop service to Barbados from Atlanta beginning on April 10. It leaves on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays with connections from La Guardia, Syracuse, Hartford, Boston, Michigan, Illinois, Akron, Cleveland and Indianapolis. They depart Atlanta at 9:30 a.m. and arrive at 2 p.m. Return flights leave at 2:40 p.m. and arrive in Atlanta at 8:04 p.m. Air Jamaica (www.airjamaica.com) offers three weekly flights departing New York's John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport at 7 a.m., arriving at 11:40 a.m. Daily return flights leave at 6:50 p.m. and arrive in New York at 11:30 p.m. American Airlines (www.aa.com) offers the most flights to Barbados including flights from New York and Miami. Tour Operators

Most major tour operators such as GOGO Worldwide Vacations (www.gogowwv.com) and Travel Impressions (www.travelimpressions.com) offer Barbados packages but here's some additional operators to add to that list. Delta Vacations (www.delta.com) and Future Vacations (www.futurevacations.com) are offering a Best of Barbados package. Both offer commissions of up to 15 percent on all Barbados bookings. The hotel line-up ranges from budget to ultra-luxury properties including both Almond properties in Barbados. The package includes $200 air credit per person ($300 per person for travel in September), the first night free (two nights free for travel in September), a free breakfast daily and a $25 voucher for dinner for two at Oistins Fish Fry among other amenities. Also, Island Destinations (www.islanddestinations.com) is offering a Romance in Paradise package at Sandy Lane that includes a $100 resort credit. It also includes accommodations in either a Luxury Ocean Room, Dolphin Suite, Luxury Orchid Suite, Luxury Dolphin Suite or Penthouse categories; a bottle of champagne on arrival; one candlelight dinner for two; one catamaran cruise for two and one spa voucher of $100 per person or one round of golf in the Country Club per person with a cart. It's valid on new bookings for travel from April 19 to October 31. Five nights in a Luxury Ocean Room start at $5,600 per couple. Guests stay for five nights, but pay for only four. Seven nights in a Luxury Ocean Room start at $8,400 per couple. Again, guests get one night free included in the cost.
