Frontier Airlines Enters Bankruptcy: Plans to Continue Operating

ASTA has advised member agents of Frontier Airlines April 10 decision to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the Southern District of New York. The airline, however, will continue operating.

ASTA said Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection will provide Frontier with the opportunity to restructure and reduce its debts while continuing day-to-day operations. The airline has stated that it plans to continue operating its full flight schedule and honor tickets and reservations.
