Frontier Gets Concourse A Gates at Denver

Frontier Airlines reached an agreement with Denver International Airport (DIA) and United Airlines to take possession of six gates on DIA's Concourse A; those are currently leased by United for its Ted operation. Frontier currently leases 16 gates on Concourse A, and with the additional six, will operate on a total of 22 gates on Concourse A. According to the announcement made by the airport, United will give up one Concourse A gate on July 1 and a second gate when their dual loading bridge project is completed on Concourse B around the middle of November. United will then return the remaining four Concourse A gates to the airport when United's new Concourse B regional jet facility is completed in about nine months.
