Hawaiian Airlines Expands Transpacific Lift

Hawaiian Airlines is boosting its lift between the West Coast and Hawaii this fall when it adds four Boeing 767-300 aircraft to its fleet. On Sept. 6, Hawaiian is changing its daily nonstop San Diego-Kahului, Maui service from a summer to a year-round schedule. On Oct. 13, it is converting its nonstop Seattle-Kahului and Portland-Kahului flights to daily service, a net increase of seven flights a week from the Pacific Northwest. On Nov. 19, the carrier is upping its Sacramento-Honolulu lift from one nonstop a day to 11 each week and is adding three nonstops a week to its current daily Seattle-Honolulu flights. And in the summer of 2007, Hawaiian will convert one of its Los Angeles-Honolulu flights from four flights a week to daily service, raising frequency for this city-pair to three flights a day.
