KLM to Operate a Dreamliner From San Francisco to Amsterdam

Dreamliner Beginning May 4, 2016,  KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will operate its new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS). This will be the Dreamliner’s first flight out of the U.S.

KLM will offer the Dreamliner flights twice a week (Wednesdays and Sundays) throughout the summer season. The plane takes off from San Francisco at 4:45 p.m., arriving in Amsterdam at 12:15 p.m. the following day. The plane then departs Amsterdam at 12:40 p.m., arriving in San Francisco at 2:45 p.m. These flights are in addition to KLM’s daily flights, currently operated by a Boeing 747-400 from San Francisco to Amsterdam.

On board the new Dreamliner, guests will have access to a state-of-the-art inflight entertainment system, Wi-Fi for all passengers and new World Business Class (WBC0), Economy Comfort and Economy class cabins designed by Dutch designer Hella Jongerius.

KLM added its first Dreamliner into service in late 2015. The new aircraft currently flies to Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Rio de Janeiro, Osaka, Delhi, Hangzhou, Xiamen and Chengdu.
