Korean Air to Serve Las Vegas

Korean Air and Las Vegas tourism officials announced new air service between South Korea and the Nevada gaming city. Starting in September, Korean Air will fly a 300-seat Boeing 777 three times a week on a nonstop route between Seoul and Las Vegas, according to the airline. Las Vegas officials also said 200,000 South Koreans visit the city a year and the service will significantly increase tourism from Korea, perhaps by 50 percent or more the first year. South Korea ranks number five for overseas tourists to Las Vegas, and Las Vegas is seeking to increase Asian visitation.
