Beginning in early March, Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) will launch a new flight route to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) as part of a new service that will expand travel options both domestically, and internationally. The effort is a result of the recent ties the Florida hub has made with United Airlines, whose Houston outpost offers flights to a host of global destinations.
In addition, the partnership with the international carrier marks the first since ECP’s 2010 inauguration. To begin, twice-daily nonstop flights will occur between the two major airports. Advance travel arrangements can be made starting November 8.
