In a recent announcement, Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport has reported that Southwest Airlines will begin Saturday nonstop service to Dallas Love Field (DAL) airport beginning March 7, 2015.
As of April 8, the airline will increase air service offerings to daily nonstop service.
This follows February's earlier news that Southwest reached a deal with United Airlines, concerning gate use. The deal allows Southwest to use two more gates at Love Field, bringing the total amount of gates Southwest can access to 18. Thanks to the sublease with United, Southwest also plans to offer nonstop service to Milwaukee, Seattle and Memphis from Dallas.
