U.S. Airways, America West Merge Fare Classes

August 24, 2006 By: Mike Jaccarino Travel Agent

U.S. Airways and America West Airlines are continuing their consolidation effort, announcing they will publish a new, joint list of fare classes Sept 1. The move will affect travel beginning Sept. 20, and forces agents to cancel segments for travel on or after that date. U.S. Airways and America West recently merged to create the fifth largest domestic airline.
