Air France Amends Policies in Lieu of Strike

October 25, 2007 By: Travel Agent Central Contributor Travel Agent

A strike by French public-sector workers has seriously affected transportation across the country, jamming commuter trains and disrupting flights. Air France said any schedule disruptions would mainly affect short- and medium-haul services in France and Europe. Passengers will be able to change at no cost, regardless of the fare paid, to either another Air France flight, another destination, a flight operated by another carrier or to French Railways services. Travelers also may postpone their flight for one month. Customers traveling in France may call the airline's service line, specifically set up for strike-affected travelers, at 0800 240 260.
