October 27, 2011 By: Nicole Lowary

JetBlue Airways will waive change fees and fare differences for those traveling to or from Cancun, Mexico on October 27 or October 28, due to inclement weather from Hurricane Rina. The customers booked for travel on those dates can rebook their trips through Tuesday, November 1, 2011 by contacting JetBlue prior to the departure of their originally scheduled flight. Travelers with cancelled flights may opt for a refund. The original travel must have been booked on or before October 25.

JetBlue Airways serves 66 cities with 650 daily flights, with plans for introducing new flights to St. Croix and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, La Romana, Dominican Republic and Liberia, Costa Rica. The airline is known for its award-winning service, low fares, and more legroom with its seats. It is also America’s first and only airline to have its own Customer Bill of Rights, with specific and meaningful compensation for customers inconvenienced by service disruptions within JetBlue’s control.
