Elite Island Resorts, a collection of beachfront resorts in such Caribbean destinations as Antigua, Grenada, St. Lucia, Tortola and the Grenadines, recently announced the appointment of seasoned industry veteran Francina Mason as northeast regional sales manager.
Mason brings 20 years of experience to her new role, managing key relationships with leading travel agencies and wholesalers located in the northeastern region of the U.S.
Born in Jamaica, Mason began her career at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square. She later became business development manager for LibGo Flight Centre followed by district sales manager for SuperClubs Resorts.
Now based in New Jersey, Mason is in charge of closing individual and group bookings to all of Elite Island Resorts’ Caribbean properties, including the newly acquired all-inclusive Morgan Bay Beach Resort in St. Lucia. She will host travel agencies for familiarization trips, conduct one-on-one deskside visits and provide agent education seminars, among other responsibilities.
