Viceroy Anguilla Hires New General Manager

viceroy anguillaViceroy Hotel Group recently announced the appointment of Richard Alexander as general manager of Viceroy Anguilla. 

Alexander will oversee operations of the 35-acre property, which debuted as the first international resort for Viceroy Hotel Group, and is well-known for its distinctive style and service.

“As resort manager for the past year, Richard has been a tremendous asset, overseeing numerous projects and divisions at Viceroy Anguilla,” said Bill Walshe, CEO of Viceroy Hotel Group, in a written statement. “His intimate knowledge of the property and extensive experience with staff and guests makes Richard the ideal person to lead this management team.  We are thrilled to welcome him to his new role."
 
A 27-year veteran of the luxury hospitality business, Alexander has held general manager roles, and worked at the hotel executive committee level, at both Jumeirah Hotels and Hyatt International. Prior to joining the Viceroy Anguilla team, Alexander was the general manager of the Marylebone Hotel in London.

Expansion of the wellness and fitness amenities include the addition of a new basketball court, rock climbing wall, volleyball court and a new tennis pavilion, featuring an athletic retail shop.
