New Ballroom Is Latest Upgrade in Aruba Marriott Resort's Four-Year, $51.5 Million Renovation

aruba marriott resort & stellaris casinoAfter a four-year, multiple-phase overhaul, Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino has enhanced its property once again – this time with a $1.5 million revamp to its 8,435-square-foot Grand Ballroom.

This comes as the latest addition to the previously completed $50 million project that started in 2009 and included the addition of the exclusive adults-only Tradewinds Club in 2011 and the adults-only H2Oasis pool in 2012.

The ballroom renovation features updated hard and soft goods with new woodwork, carpeting, wallpaper, millwork, lighting, banquet tables and chairs and a remodel of the ballroom foyer. The resort’s new space was designed to reflect the tropical Caribbean flair of the island and will now match the resort’s previously re-designed lobby.

The updated Grand Ballroom will resume its use as an upscale meetings and events venue, with the goal of bringing in new and creative ways to host large groups. Dividable in four salons, the space is ideal for meetings, weddings and events and can accommodate up to 800 clients.
