Trafalgar Releases 2015 Australia and New Zealand Brochure

Trafalgar has released its 2015 Australia and New Zealand brochure, including seven new Mini-Stays.

The brochure includes 15 full trips (as well as a five-day Fiji stopover). Good to know: A Mini-Stay can be added to the beginning or end of an Australia or New Zealand guided vacation. These vacations range from two to seven days in length and are designed to complement Trafalgar's itineraries. With Local Experts, guests can have a private Opera House Tour or try accommodations under the stars at the Ayers Rock Resort. For something really exclusive, guests can try a Be My Guest experience at the historic Shenandoah home of Simon and Claudia Nottingham, taking afternoon tea in their garden.

To celebrate the launch of the new brochure, Trafalgar is offering an Early Payment Discount with savings of up to $1,840 per couple on 2015 South Pacific vacations when booked and paid by November 20.

Seven Independent Mini-Stays

Sydney's Food and Wine Discovery
This four-day Mini-Stay includes dinner at Sydney's tallest landmark, Sydney Tower and lunch at Lindeman's, one of the Hunter Valley's pioneering wine-making companies.

Melbourne's Food and Wine Discovery

After a morning of sightseeing to Federation Square, the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Shrine of Remembrance, guests will board the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant for a trip into Victoria's history. Of course, a trip to Victoria is not complete without a visit to Yarra Valley, where guests will have lunch and try a wine tasting.

Uluru Highlights
A trip to Uluru is a must, especially at sunset. A visit to the Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) Mutitjulu Walk, and Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre are also included in this two-day Mini-Stay.

Red Centre Sights and Sounds

Dine under the stars at the Sounds of Silence Dinner with local cuisine and Australian wines. Guests can then relax as a startalker takes them on a tour of the night skies. Early risers can see the first rays of the sun light up the Red Centre and Uluru. Also included are visits to Mutitjulu Waterhole, Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and Kata Tjuta (the Olgas).

Spectacular Bay of Islands
Spending four days in Auckland, guests can visit the Bay of Islands and learn about New Zealand's early Maori and European history. Cruising on a purpose-built catamaran, guests may catch glimpses of common and bottlenose dolphins, whales and other marine life.

Rotorua Highlights
Visit the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves with their stalactites, stalagmites and other limestone formations. A silent boat ride through the Glow Worm Grotto - a subterranean cavern lit by thousands of tiny glow worms is a must-try.

Bay of Islands and Rotorua
This seven-day trip combines trips to the Bay of Islands and Rotorua along with plenty of free time so guests see all the famous sights including: the "Hole in the Rock," Waitomo Glow Worm Caves and Te Puia, a place of Maori culture and geysers boiling mud pools.
