Every year Travel Agent magazine profiles the industry’s “Top 30Under30” travel agents. In the same vein, we are proud to announce that one of our own rising stars, Jeremiah Batucan, made the list of Folio: magazine’s “20 in Their 20s” honorees. Batucan—who joined the Questex team in May 2012 and serves as director of digital operations for Travel Agent, sister publication Luxury Travel Advisor, travelagentcentral.com and Travel Agent University—received the award on October 21 during the “Folio:’s 100” awards luncheon at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. The ceremony, part of Folio:’s annual MediaNext Conference, salutes the magazine and media industry’s “most innovative entrepreneurs and market shaker-uppers.”
The “20 in Their 20s” competition was fierce, according to the magazine’s editors, and to be named to its annual list of the brightest young individuals is a significant accomplishment for Batucan and his fellow under-30s.
