The American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ) recently honored Miguel Fluxa Rossello, executive chairman of Grupo Iberostar, at a gala at the St. Regis New York. Travel Agent was there as Fluxa accepted the award and told attendees, “I believe that companies have a responsibility to give back to the communities they operate in, and this is why the Fundacion Iberostar is so dedicated to its work in Jamaica. When you invest in people, especially children at a young age, and give them the tools to achieve great things, all of society benefits.”
