Baha Mar's Melia Nassau Beach Announces Food and Beverage Options

Melia Nassau Beach, the upscale all-inclusive resort slated to be part of Nassau's new Baha Mar resort destination complex, has announced new dining offerings to be available later this month. 

The new eateries, which will open in November 2014, are part of the first phase of a $19 million renovation at Melia Nassau Beach. Renovations throughout the property are expected to be completed in early 2016 as part of the new Baha Mar complex. 

The new food and beverage offerings are:

Cilantro -- A Mexican restaurant serving dishes such as Pork Tenderloin with Braised Chard and Tequila Sauce, Grouper with Green Ceviche and Chicken Fried Tacos. A tableside margarita trolley will also be available. 

Nikkei -- A fusion of Japanese, Canotnese and Peruvian cuisine, this restaurant will offer a sushi bar and Teppanyaki tables. Menu highlights include the Crunchy Thai Salad, Salmon & Avocado Ceviche, Japanese Chicken Curry and Encrusted Sea Bass with Curry Mango Sauce.

The Black Angus -- A steakhouse with contemporary jazz and modern decor. Menu highlights include Bahamian Lobster Tail, Grilled Sea Bass with Orange Sauce, Fire Glazed BBQ Pork Ribs, and Beef Empanadas with Chimichurri Sauce.

Estavida -- A tapas lounge in the hotel lobby that is expected to serve as a "social hub" at the property. 

Currently, Melia Nassau Beach has three dining options:

The Market Place is an open-kitchen featuring Balance by Meliá serving international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A selection of aperitifs and delicatessen- style snacks are also available after midnight.

O'Grille is an American grill with a beachfront locations. 

Aqua offers a dinner menu of Italian cuisine and an extensive wine list.
