Stuart Bowe Appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of Resort Operations at Atlantis, Paradise Island

atlantisAtlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas has announced the appointment of Stuart Bowe to senior vice president and general manager of resort operations, effective immediately. 

Bowe holds over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Bowe began his professional life with the Paradise Island Resort in 1991, which later became Atlantis, Paradise Island in 1994, where he started as executive housekeeper. He steadily rose through the ranks, having served in numerous capacities, ranging from front office manager to vice president of water park operations. In 2008, Bowe was relocated to Dubai for two years, where he coordinated hotel operations for the opening of Atlantis, The Palm, before returning to The Bahamas to his most recent position. In his new role, he will oversee all operations pertaining to 2,317 rooms in the Coral, Beach and Royal Towers of Atlantis.

Bowe is presently serving his third term as president of the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association, second vice president of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, and a Trustee of the Bahamas Hotel and Allied Industry Pension Fund. Bowe, who is currently pursuing his PHD in applied management sciences from Walden University, holds an MBA in marketing from Walden, and also a BA in accounting from Florida State University.
