In just a month and a half since Hurricane Odile pummeled the shores of Los Cabos, the destination is well on its way to being fully open for business.
As of October 8, the Los Cabos International Airport reopened its runways to commercial flights. Daily flights are in operation to the destination with service on Aeromexico, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, US Airways and Virgin America.
Los Cabos will have an official reopening ceremony at the Los Cabos Film Festival, which is to be held November 12-16, 2014. This will mark the official debut of the destination.

Hotel Update
Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa reopened on October 9.
Barcelo Grand Faro Los Cabos reopened to the public on October 23, two weeks ahead of schedule.
All five hotels in the Solmar Hotels & Resort portfolio (Grand Solmar Land's End Resort & Spa; Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa; the Ridge Luxury Villas at Playa Grande; Solmar All-Inclusive Resort & Beach Club; and Hotel Quinta del Sol) are open.
Villa La Estancia Beach Resort & Spa is now now open.
Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Golf & Spa Resort Los Cabos will be open on Friday.
Las Ventanas al Paraiso was able to raise almost $100,000 to help its staff rebuild their homes. The resort is undergoing construction and will be open by December 15, just in time for the holidays.
A recent decision has been made by AMResorts to place an enhanced focus on Secrets Marquis Los Cabos. They are extending the re-opening date until December 20, 2014. Guests scheduled to travel to the resort between November 15 and December 19 will be automatically transferred to Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort within the same room category and at the same rate.
Zoetry Casa del Mar Los Cabos will also open December 19.
Capella Pedregal is working hard to repair and is expected to be fully operational by January 31, 2015.
Esperanza, An Auberge Resort will reopen February 28, 2015.
One&Only Palmilla will open by March 14, 2015
Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is currently undergoing construction to repair the damages caused by the hurricane. They are looking to be open by April 29, 2015
