Solmar Hotels & Resorts on Mexico's Baja Peninsula has recently added two new spa treatments to their spa menu, as well as introduced a new rewards program for frequent spa-goers.
The Ictiotherapy treatment is a natural and organic foot treatment used to relax and renew skin, and is done with the help of Garra Rufa, a species of freshwater fish. The Garra Rufa fish is known for its ability to cleanse and regenerate skin. Visitors will enjoy a 15-minute or 30-minute session with this treatment.
The Aqua Therapy is a water dance combining the benefits of water therapy and shiatsu massage. This treatment is available at the Playa Grande Spa by Solmar.
Also new at Playa Grande Spa by Solmar is a rewards program for frequent spa-ers. The program allows guests to earn points while enjoying a treatment. Guests are automatically enrolled in the complimentary program upon a first purchase, referring a friend or pre-booking a service. Point values vary based on purchase and 100 points are awarded for referrals. When a customer reaches 300 points, rewards can be redeemed.
