Tropical Storm Patricia Gets Weaker

The latest update by the National Weather Service indicates that Tropical Storm Patricia is becoming “less organized,” and that “satellite imagery indicates that thunderstorm activity over the past several hours has decreased and little change in strength is expected during the next 24 hours.”

The latest report locates the storm 100 miles southeast of the southern tip of Baja California. It is expected to produce a total rainfall of roughly one-to-three inches across the extreme southern portion of Baja California. So, all in all, good news for Mexico.
