In an effort to improve its relationship with agents and operators, Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort in St. Lucia announced that agent commissions will remain at 15 percent for all vacation bookings now through 2010.
In addition, the luxury resort will be participating in 27 St. Lucia Tourist Board Road Shows through mid-November with the goal of reaching 2,700 travel specialists throughout the U.S. and Canada. Major metropolitan areas being visited include cities near airline gateways in New York City; Washington, DC; Chicago; Cincinnati; Atlanta; Charlotte; Houston; Dallas; Toronto; and Montreal. Plus, effective immediately, tour operators will now have access to Sun Dollars, a resort credit program that had been only available to travel agents for direct bookings up until now.
