GOGO Changes Commission on Bermuda Bookings

bermudaGOGO Vacations reports it has changed the commission structure on Bermuda Bookings. Originally, Bermuda was capped at a 13 percent commission level for all agencies. As of March 1, 2013, GOGO will pay agents their contracted commission rate. By removing this 13 percent cap, agents in GOGO Vacations’ top tier commission level can now earn as much as 14 percent commission when booking Bermuda, given their current commission structure. Agents will also have the opportunity to earn more by booking online and earning an extra 1 percent commission.

“The new commission structure on Bermuda bookings was instilled to maximize the agents’ profits,” stated Marg Mulholland, president of GOGO Vacations. “Agents have been asking for more and once again, we have listened and delivered. This is a large investment on our end to offer a higher commission level to Bermuda but we know it is for the growth and betterment of travel agents.”

Within the last month, GOGO reports it has launched a series of enhanced features that have been aimed at travel agent growth, such as new documents and enhanced web features. This new commission structure follows along the same theme.

“All these features are features that travel agents have been asking for,” stated Mulholland. “They have invested their time with us, and we are happy to make the investment in them.”
