Harry Potter Theme Park Planned for Universal Studios in Southern California

A second Harry Potter franchised park is set to “apparate” in Los Angeles, according to reports by the Wall Street Journal.

NBCUniversal's plan is to expand Universal Studios in California with a part devoted to a Hogwarts Castle, roller coasters and Harry Potter themed restaurants like the Hog’s Head tavern, the seedy pub in the book-series where wizards slurped down butterbeer. 

NBCUniversal opened its first Harry Potter park in 2010 in Orlando. Later on Harry Potter fans might see parks in Japan and Singapore, according to the Wall Street Journal.
