The San Diego Tourism Authority (SDTA) has promoted Benjamin Eastman to director of travel trade development.
In his new position Eastman will head the five-person Travel Trade Development department responsible for working with travel agents and tour operators domestically and internationally.
A 14-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Eastman was Travel Trade Development Manager at SDTA for the past five years. He previously worked as an Internet & In-Market Corporate Sales Manager at the Zoological Society of San Diego. Eastman is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego.
For travel trade professionals, the San Diego Tourism Authority can provide:

- Organization of group familiarization tours and site inspections of San Diego to qualified agents and operators.
