Tzell Travel Group’s New York-based First in Service Travel will open new West Coast offices on Monday, June 23 in Santa Monica Municipal Airport (SMO). The expansion marks the first travel agency to open in the Santa Monica Municipal Airport, which often serves celebrities, politicians and executives. The opening builds on Tzell Travel Group’s existing West Coast presence.

The Santa Monica location makes perfect sense for the clientele. First in Service CEO and co-founder Fernando Gonzalez explains, “After an extensive search, we knew that SMO was the ideal location to establish our roots in L.A. We are located in the celebrity entrance of the terminal so it will be a very high profile spot. The views of the runway are very impressive, too."
The Los Angeles team will include industry experts Chad Rodarme, Mona Behringer, Mina Shaffiee and Thelma Abhyankar. First in Service Travel is a branch of Tzell Travel Group.
New York-based First in Service (F1S) is a design house of travel, with clientele in fashion, media, technology and entertainment. Sister and brother team Erika Reategui and Fernando Gonzalez founded First in Service in 1991. Since then, the company has built a team of specialists in New York, Los Angeles, London and Bogota.
