Club Med Launches New “Expert Agent” Program Through Travel Agent University

travel agentClub Med has launched the new Club Med Expert Agent Program with Travel Agent University. The course will explain Club Med's history as the pioneer of the all-inclusive concept, as well as examine the many contributing facets of Club Med's success, including the international locations, enrichment programs for children, unique sports activities and the friendly, multicultural spirit.

Travel agents can become Club Med Expert Agents by visiting TAUniv.com and registering for free (or logging in if already an existing member). Agents can then access the course by clicking on the Club Med logo and advance through “The Club Med Experience” as well as the “Target Markets” before taking the final exam. The interactive course has useful tools such as the “Check Your Knowledge” section, which quizzes travel agents while they learn, and the course notes section, which allows agents to keep track of important facts.

The many perks of becoming a Club Med Expert Agent include instant access to graduate benefits containing two CEUs from The Travel Institute (TTI) for qualified agents, a downloadable specialist diploma, and automatic enrollment in the Club Med Great Agent Loyalty Program (coming soon). As a bonus, Club Med Expert Agents get the opportunity to view Alumni Alerts featuring additional benefits, news and travel agent offers.

"We look forward to the launch of the CMEA program and are pleased with the opportunity to invite travel agents to grow closer to the Club Med brand," says Patrick Mitchell, vice president of sales, Club Med North America. "With the launch of the 'Expert Agent' program, agents are empowered to position themselves as the most knowledgeable resource to assist consumers in booking a Club Med vacation. We strongly value our relationships with travel agents, as they are extremely valuable to the sales process. We believe this tool will strengthen our relationship with travel agents and look forward to welcoming their clientele at more than 80 of our all-inclusive resorts worldwide."
