Travel Impressions Expands Destination Training and Launches Contest

caribbean beachContinuing to expand its support for retail agents, Travel Impressions reports it has added 12 new interactive presentations to its award-winning Dimension Series destination knowledge and training tool, along with a new web platform for enhanced functionality.

To celebrate, the tour operator is also launching a "Quest for Clues" program, providing agents with opportunities to earn one of three $100 American Express Gift Cheques or an iPad Mini while increasing their knowledge of Travel Impressions' resort and destination partners, Travel Impressions says.

Travel Impressions' Dimension Series portfolio currently features 30 targeted destination presentations, including the following recent additions: Cancun, Hard Rock All-inclusive Hotels, Jamaica,  New Zealand, Queensland, Australia, RIU Hotels & Resorts, Riviera Maya, Saint Lucia, Sandals Royal Caribbean,  Sunswept Resorts, St. Lucia: Rendezvous + The Body Holiday and Westin Playa Conchal.

Beyond increased content offerings, Travel Impressions reports it has revamped the technology behind the Dimension Series for improved navigation and functionality. The introduction of a finely-targeted search capability provides agents with immediate access to information needed to effectively plan a successful travel experience, Travel Impressions said.

Travel Impressions' Dimension Series is available on-demand across multiple platforms. With optimization for tablets and other smart devices, as well as the ability to search by specific areas or activities, agents can utilize the presentations as a real-time sales tool when making recommendations to clients.

Travel Impressions' "Quest for Clues" program provides agents with opportunities to win one of three $100 American Express Gift Cheques on a monthly basis. Agents simply view Dimension Series presentations at http://www.travimp.com/dimensionseries and put their new knowledge to use by completing a short quiz and entry form. Multiple entries (one per successfully completed quiz) are permitted.

Three agents will be selected each month from March – December 2013. As an added bonus, all entries will also be entered into additional drawings for an iPad Mini in May, September and December.  Retailers must log-in to Quest for Agents in order to participate in the "Quest for Clues” program.  Additional information on “Quest for Clues” can be found at http://www.travelimpressions.com/questforclues.

"Travel agents' best asset has always been and always will be their expertise," said Susan Black, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Travel Impressions.
