Vacation.com has also announced a yaer-over-year increase of nearly 27 percent in training touchpoints, which totaled more than 21,800 in 2015. Educational opportunities include live and on-demand webinars, one-on-one customized sessions for member agencies and in-person training events at Vacation.com’s International Conference & Trade Show and Regional Events. These educational offerings, such as the upcoming Agent Snapshot webinars on March 1 and March 3, are all provided at no cost to member agencies.
In January 2016 alone, more than 510 Vacation.com agents participated in available webinars. Throughout 2016, Vacation.com will offer its members a selection of new webinars, including the training opportunities focused on “Agent Snapshot” on March 1 and 3. These Agent Snapshot training sessions will provide members with tips on how introducing distinct travel agent capabilities and one’s personality in their Agent Snapshot bio can help highlight specific travel agents when consumers search for unique and valuable travel expertise. Plus, a notable enhancement to Vacation.com’s trainings will include the option of accessing training webinars through the app “GoToMeeting.”
