Six travel agency owners have been elected to the Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associate Advisory Board. Associates (franchisees) from five regions of the country voted to send three new representatives to the board, while two others were reelected. In addition, one associate was reelected to represent the network's Leaders Group on the advisory board. The newest two-term board members are: Sandy Bohmer, Coon Rapids, MN, the Mid Northwest District; Morris Capouya, Montgomery, AL, the Northeast/Southeast District; and Barbara Mazzola, Middleburg Heights, OH, the Northern Great Lakes District. Members who were reelected for an additional two-year term include Terry Denton, Fort Worth, TX, the South Central District; Mary Lou Snyder, Yakima, WA, the Western District; and Teri Trettin, Tacoma, WA, representing the Leaders Group. Six other members are in the midst of their two-year terms. There is one member at-large position that is still open. The CWT Associate Division consults with the associate advisory board on a wide variety of topics, including the network's strategic direction, technological opportunities, education and training needs, regional and national meeting agendas, marketing strategies and more.
