Agency network Joystar, Inc. has appointed 19-year travel industry veteran Sandra D'Arcy to the post of Chief Operating Officer. D'Arcy previously spent 10 years as executive vice president of Hotels.com, where she oversaw sales, marketing, human resources, finance, accounting and vendor resource management functions. William M. Alverson, chairman and CEO of Joystar, said the company plans to leverage D'Arcy's skills to enhance its technology and service offerings to the travel agent community and grow Joystar beyond its current model and scope of operations.
