NCL Corporation announced new senior executive appointments for the revenue management, fleet operations and finance departments. Robert Thye joins NCL in the newly created position of senior vice president, revenue management; he comes from American Airlines where he was managing director of revenue management and capacity planning. Thye will report to Andy Stuart, NCL's executive vice president of sales, marketing and passenger services. Carlos Hernandez joins NCL as vice president and controller; he joins the company from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he most recently served as an assurance senior manager. Hernandez takes over from NCL's current controller, Jay Levitt who is leaving the company after 29 years of service. Hernandez will report to Bonnie Biumi, NCL's chief financial officer. Jeff Frier also joins NCL as vice president of technical operations, reporting to Chris Foong, senior vice president of marine technical and new build operations. Captain Niklas Peterstam has joined the shore-side Miami office as vice president of nautical operations; he reports to Bill Hamlin, executive vice president of fleet operations. In addition, Captain Svein Sleipnes previously vice president of nautical operations has moved into the position of vice president of port operations reporting to Hamlin.
