A limited number of tickets are still available for the Rum & Rhythm Benefit - "The Ultimate Caribbean Cultural & Epicurean Experience" - at Tribeca 360 on Friday, June 8, 2012, from 6:30 - 10:30 pm. Tickets are $100 each and must be purchased by May 20.

This event is the culmination of Caribbean Week in New York, taking place June 4-9, which is a celebration of the sights, sounds, vibrancy and culture of the region.

Rum & Rhythm is both a fundraiser for the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Foundation, a charitable organization which provides scholarships to Caribbean nationals, and an event that enables consumers to savor the taste, spirit and sounds of the Caribbean while they mingle with ministers and directors of tourism, private sector tourism executives, young professionals, the business community and other official representatives from the region.

This signature event will take guests on an enchanting journey that will encapsulate the vibrant cultures, eclectic cuisines, pulsating rhythms and quintessential experiences that are enjoyed in the Caribbean.   The evening will highlight the diverse cultures of the Dutch, English, French and Spanish Caribbean.

Guests will be exposed to the varied award-winning rums of the Caribbean as well as the talents and artistic flair of some of the Caribbean's celebrity musicians, chefs and mixologists at the exclusive and trendy Tribeca 360.

The evening will include a live auction featuring vacation packages, hotel stays and Caribbean artwork, and also feature special appearances by top Caribbean personalities and celebrities.  The sights and sounds of the Caribbean will transform Tribeca 360 into an island-inspired haven with food samplings and rum demonstrations as the epicurean centerpiece of the evening.
