Travel Agent's Video Interviews During Caribbean Week

 

It never hurts having an office smack in the heart of midtown Manhattan when all of the Caribbean’s most important delegates are in town. And Travel Agent made good use of our facilities during Caribbean Week last week as we welcomed tourism representatives from Nevis, Barbados and Grenada, all sharing valuable selling tips for agents booking any of these islands.

Here's what we learned…

 

Richard Sealy, minister of tourism for Barbados, shares with viewers just why he has attended the last six Caribbean Weeks and just how important the week is when it comes to showcasing islands like Barbados. Sealy also gives credit to the island's new Sandals Barbados when it comes to increasing interest from airlines.

 
 

Greg Phillip, CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority, dropped by our offices to tell viewers just how valuable Caribbean Week is, especially for smaller islands such as Nevis. Phillip also shared valuable selling tips with agents including a run down of some the islands sports and romance offerings. 

 

Alexandra Otway-Noel, minister of tourism and civil aviation for Grenada, and Rudy Grant, CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority, dropped by Travel Agent's offices to tell viewers the impact the island's new Sandals LaSource Grenada property has had on bringing in flights to the destination. The two also shared some reasons why Grenada is on its way to becoming one of the most luxurious islands in the region.
