The property has adjusted its renovation schedule for a revised completion timeline of summer 2008. The $40 million renovation began on July 7, 2007 with the shutting down of the South Tower of guest rooms. Rooms will undergo a complete redesign, top to bottom, inside and out. Also part of the first phase is the lobby area and atrium rooms, which were closed on October 1. Tuscany, formerly the hotel’s fine dining Italian restaurant, is also now undergoing a transformation to turn it in to a first-class Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. These components are all scheduled for completion by mid-December.

The next phase of renovations will commence in spring 2008 and will include an upgrade to La Vista Restaurant and the pool area. Upon completion of the full $40 million enhancement project, the entire resort, with the exception of the Stellaris Casino, will be smoke free. Visit
